Explore with your mind!

When we pray to God, remember (err…) Him, why do we LOOK UP?

Curse, thank, solve, and cry, the eyes go up, as does the head. Why can’t we just block off all else, just think, RELAXEDLY concentrate on him?

Well, with the questions, I reached an answer or two also.

All of us, every single person, even those who appear carefree, cool have placed “weight” on themselves. Not some obvious lump of extraneous crap, rather a covert yet deeper- Feel-able weight on our minds. Everything because of the artificial world created around us. The whole lot- buildings, cars, language, study, materials, concrete et al, in short, our very hectic life. Mankind is always wrapped up in its conundrums; problems which seem in-place then, weirdly out of context now. In fact, any problem or controversy comes and goes, making us a better, ‘wiser’ person, and we take it in our stride, slowly but surely recovering. Same holds true for happy, jovial moments. And we have come to accept that, anoint is as the “way of the world”. Only when we ponder, we realize- Life is passing me by: events, things; just God (“points up, slaps hand down, closes eyes and thinks of Him”) remains constant. Strange and unfathomable but somehow possible. None of us can imagine this, nor do I claim to. Hence, God is unknown (“sudden flashback”), much like the sky, the Space beyond it. We are still only beginning to appreciate these two things. So, for our problems, tragic moments, we seek help, look for Heaven, a place “above” this earth. When explanation fails us, we demean it as incomprehensible, look up and say- “yeh sab uparwale ki maya hai” (All the magic of GOD”).

Sadly or fortunately (I can’t decide) we can’t change the way things are, otherwise we would have no life- no friends, no enemies, no computers, no blogs to read and comment on (“wink, wink”), nothing to scratch our head about. Our minds run only on CHAOS. No confusion, no fun, no living. So, we are fine- LET THE SHOW GO ON!!!

God - as u said we often look up to him, mostly in difficult times, when we are surrounded by problems. The Q is y?

I believe God to be a potential - potential of good as well as bad. He is the nothingness - the nothingness beyond the universe - the perfection which cannot exist here n if it does must unite wid Him.

When in a problem, sure of nothing , we look up to him to guide our way.

N yeah, m sure of another thing, Nice Entry! Really makes u think deep.
