SOCIAL SERVICE AHOY!!
Unlike common beliefs that I'm an arrogant son of a bitch, there's a soft side to my personality as well. And you can cut out the sniggers.
Our esteemed school is organising social service for us 11thies and a handful of 12thies. I have to say they're an experienced lot in this and we had plenty to learn from the way they planned the trip. Everybody got together in school, got organized and left when the monday test got over.
We went to Home for the Aged as it was called which is in Chhatarpur, far far away from school. So we had a pretty long journey in the bus which we passed by playing Dumb Charades with movies
like "chandal aur uski chandalni" ahhhhhhh.....
Shashibala "ma'am" (the goswami look-alike) told us that we should be nice to the "inmates". That was the first of a few shocks. Next, we found that thi home, is entirely different from where we stay as in it was small, not particularly pleasing to look at. the rooms were miniscule but decent, bathrooms looked horrible.
We had a great time chatting with the "inmates". A nurse, an english teacher, a ranji trophy player we had the likes of them there. We also found there "dadi"- a really sweet old lady who seemed to have met a hell of a lot of filmstars.
We heard senti stories, gave 'em bedsheets, juice, biscuits, sang songs(at which i am useless), heard songs(not the best really), clicked a few snaps.

"khudi ko kar buland itna
ki har takdeer se pehle khuda bandey se puchche
bata teri raza kya ha

hey...i think dat social service thn is reaalllly gud!....i went their last year...but tihar jail was d best!u noe,a lotta guys(i m nt namin ne1)just go thr 2 make fun...but i think u genuinely* enjoyed urself...i'm very proud of u!atta boy!..ps- i think i made my entry is very late
