BIG RIP-OFF BAZAAR

For the record, the record has been smashed. this is my 4th post today bettering rhea's 3 day-before. Match that, somebody. MUAAAh!

Today, I happened to be in East-something-mall in Vaishali, somewhere near Ghaziabad (don’t ask how) which contained Big Bazaar- “issey sasta aur achcha aur kahin nahin milega”. Well, they lived up to that, that’s for sure.

Most of their stuff was CHEAP. But, sadly I for one will never ever go there if possible. The quality of the stuff there was- eeyech! Pitiable, in fact!

Accessories, gifts, sports goods, clothes (though they were somewhat decent) were all third rank.

The tested brands of food and drink was available at a price a few rupees less, just goes to show the amount of profit the multi-nationals actually make out of us.

Gifts- a dolphin, a tray: first sight they looked passable, on a closer look- the finish was terrible, shape was distorted, defects galore were there to see for the eyes of all.

They had music and VCDs as well which again weren’t exactly very affordable

Clothes are buyable, particularly t-shirts, but not for fussies.

Girls might like to go there simply for the range of make-up they had- yes, I noticed that too. Trusted stuff like Revlon, Elle was available.

I saw a couple of nice caps- 79 bucks.

My opinion: Just a whole bunch of roadside shops, put under one roof, not necessarily the best place to waste your money, and gosh! It’s far.
