everyone's been to birthday parties, had good fun playing the games like musical chairs, dancing statue, passing the parcel, then bursting the 'khoi' bag, cutting the cake, devouring the food. question is, why blow out the candles?
i always thought bringing light, illumination is supposed to be auspicious and optimistic, then how come we blow the lights out of the joyous occasion of being born? it's not such a curse..

wow its surprising how an extremely smart guy like u duznt kno this...well basically its greek mythology that u blow candles and make a wish and the smoke from the candles will reach heaven and if u blow all the candles together then that wish will prolly cum true...i dunno if this is true or not and i really dun believe in this bt this is what i read sumwhere a really long time ago...so yea... :]
