finalment

it's been ages since i posted, probably the calendar's gone too far back. anyway, like i've been saying to so many people, they make us study in 12th (damn it!!), and after not studying in 11th you get some conscience telling you, "chalo iss saal thoda serious ho jaa". And so i've been attending classes, doing homework.... the likes. kintu parantu lekin, ab bahut ho gaya.. school's a rut, morning march past, it isn't even funny anymore, boring classes (someone or the other is always caught sleeping in chemistry class), mrs C coming everyday to our class in the last period, opening the door and presto, going away.
Fiasco aka XIM blog tragedy, blah blah, we need rejuvenation and what better way than to return to blogging, so doston, dushmanon, i request you, ek comment to maar dena, and i shall post uhhm regularly too. plus, i've got my sash of Deputy Head Boy, so im happyy!

since, it's a come-back post, might as well make it meaningful. We're in our 12th, one more year of school, and after that graduation. All very well, except that some of us might not manage to get into good colleges, thanks to arjun singh, hrd minister's proposal of increasing reservations in govt. institutions, of course he suggested it for the private sector, too. So effectively, this decision affects us the most.
Everyone wants the country to be uplifted, everyone wants education for all, the point is the action is at the wrong level. Children from "backward classes" are no different from us, if they're given education they can compete with us. the problem is the millions of others who don't get the primary education. THAT is where effort is needed, a bill is needed.
Now, we don't see any politician(read law makers in parliament) saying anything against this, for the fear of losing their votes. it's all very sad etc, but it also means that someone has to make noise. and many thanks to our seniors from colleges like MAMC, AIIMS etc who are carrying out protests, braving the lathis, and violence of the police. i kid you not, VIOLENCE.
One last thing, the fight is not against people of our own country, the so-called "backward classes", they too are our brothers, the fight is for merit, for quality, to raise the country..
