everyone's been to birthday parties, had good fun playing the games like musical chairs, dancing statue, passing the parcel, then bursting the 'khoi' bag, cutting the cake, devouring the food. question is, why blow out the candles?
i always thought bringing light, illumination is supposed to be auspicious and optimistic, then how come we blow the lights out of the joyous occasion of being born? it's not such a curse..
